Oppidum Laureatum
On a.d. XVII Kal. Ian. ‡ M. Moravio T. Iulio cos. ‡ MMDCCLXI a.u.c. in Provincia Canada Ulterior Cn. Iulius Caesar issued Edict 23 founding the oppidum.
Oppidum Laureatum includes the cities of Edmonton, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan and the following surrounding counties of Parkland, Sturgeon, Strathcona and Leduc, in the province of Alberta, Canada.
The founding citizens were:
· Gaius Vipsanius Agrippa
· Quintus Suetonius Paulinus
· Vibia Lucretia Camilla
· Sexta Iunia Palladia
· Publius Aemilius Lepidus
