Edictum appointing a procurator

I hereby appoint Praefectus Publius Claudius Lucentius Severus Aerarii Britanniae as my deputy, to act for me and the provincia as Propraetor in any necessary capacity during any incapacity to carry out my official duties which I may suffer in future, such as ill health or unavoidable long-term absence.

Let his official title in this respect henceforth be known as Procurator Britanniae.
