Quorum
Out of the 22 voting members of the Senate, A. Tullia Scholastica Augusta, censorial consular senator and princeps senatus has deceased, her memory be blessed, and Gallio Velius Marsallas, senator quaestorius deceased, too. Senators Caninus and Praeconinus were removed from the senatorial order because of non-payment of taxes. This modifies the current number of the senate to 18. The Senate of Nova Roma currently has 18 voting members which gives a minimum quorum of 12 voting members. With 17 senate members present and with 1 on leave of absence, the QUORUM IS ACHIEVED.

Proposal Results
ITEM I - Senatus consultum de Magno Conventu Internationali Novae Romae Emeritae Augustae sive Romae habendo
Uti rogas / censeo / consentio = 15 = GFCAS, MACI, GCL, FVG, DAI, GPST, QAN, MHMFF, GCCB, AVC, PAB, MCMT, PACP, AIP, SLT
Comments:
- AIP: Given the numerous advantages of the XV Emerita Ludica festival outlined in the background provided for this item, I can hardly vote against it. I had hoped MMDCCLXXVIII would be the year a conventus would finally take place in Nova Britannia. Could we at least put this up for consideration for the following year?

ITEM III - Senatus consultum de relatione aerarii
Uti rogas / censeo / consentio = 13 = GFCAS, MACI, GCL, FVG, QAN, MHMFF, GCCB, AVC, PAB, MCMT, PACP, AIP, SLT
Comments:
- PAB: While I agree with others who have voiced that it should be the responsibility of the curator aerarii (CFO of our macrolegal entity) to prepare financial reports for the Senate at least annually. However, I understand that often it can take a bit more time to prepare a report of this magnitude. I therefore vote in favor of this one time extension.

Abstineo = 2 = DAI, GPST
Comments:
- DAI: The senate and the rest of the Nova Roma citizens remain in the dark on Nova Roma finances for another year. We need to fix our system. Every senator should have, at least, an overview of the financial status of our treasury, at any given time. No reason we can’t receive an update each senate session.
- GPST: I agree with D Aurelius Ingeniarius that is unsatisfactory for the senate to remain in the dark on Nova Roma finances. As consul I would have expected to have had an overview of the financial status of our treasury, and as senators we should have an update each senate session. As one of this year's consuls I accept I have been negligent in not pressing for the production of these accounts, or at least an interim overview. Every year I have to prepare my own accounts for the British authourities, which I do myself without the assistance of a professional accountant and, while I appreciate it is not a particularly enjoyable task, the work involved does NOT require weeks and months. Therefore, I can only conclude that the accounts are not available because they have NOT been systematically worked on for the several days at most that would be required to produce at least an interim report.

ITEM IV - Senatus consultum de provinciis, imperiis et triumphis
Uti rogas / censeo / consentio = 13 = GFCAS, MACI, GCL, FVG, GPST, QAN, MHMFF, GCCB, AVC, PAB, MCMT, PACP, SLT
Antiquo = 0
Abstineo = 2 = DAI, AIP
Comments:
- DAI: The reports are pretty simple; we should be naming the governors here. This could help us identify where we need to provide support and caution those currently deficient. And what is our goal with the special commands long term? Another three years? What is our plan to actually hold these triumphi?
