Gens Octavia (Nova Roma)

Gens Octavia was the sixth gens to be created within Nova Roma, when its founder Marcus Octavius Germanicus, later consul, applied for citizenship in March Fl. Vedio M. Cassio cos. ‡ MMDCCLI a.u.c.. Its early members are therefore patrician.
