Roman Market Day of Nova Roma

The Roman Market Day of Nova Roma in Provincia Nova Britannia was the main event of Nova Roma in America, Wells Harbor Park, Maine, for many years, taking over the place of the Roman Days in Provincia America Noveboracensis et Mediatlantica, which was not so closely linked to Nova Roma. The Roman Market Day was specifically organized as an annual public festival by Nova Roma, by proconsul M. Cassius, first held in M. Octavio L. Sulla (II) cos. ‡ MMDCCLV a.u.c., and was attended by 500 to 2000 people depending on the year.
