Social structure of Nova Roma

Nobilis ("noble", "well-known") is a person whose ancestors held the consulship. In Nova Roma, we consider ancestors not only the direct genetic lineage of a citizen, but also those ancient Romans who belonged to the same family indicated by nomen and cognomen combination.
