EDICTUM CONSULARE I: DE CREATIONE ACCENSORUM.

Ex hoc:

accensae et accensi creantur.

Nullum ius iurandum poscetur. Hoc edictum statim valet.

Datum sub manu nostra a.d. IV Non. Ian. M. Moravio Piscino T. Iulio Sabino consulibus, in anno a.U.c MMDCCLXI.


By this edict, we the consuls both appoint citizens:

  • Aulus Apollonius Cordus
  • Iulia Caesar Cytheris Aege
  • Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus
  • Gaius Curius Saturninus
  • Gaius Equitius Cato
  • Gnaeus Equitius Marinus
  • Kaeso Fabius Buteo Modianus
  • Kaeso Fabius Buteo Quintilianus
  • Quintus Gratius Acacius
  • Gnaeus Iulius Caesar
  • Marcus Iulius Severus
  • Marcus Lucretius Agricola
  • Publius Memmius Albucius
  • Pompeia Minucia Tiberia
  • Arnamentia Moravia Aurelia
  • Marcus Octavius Gracchus
  • Gaius Popillius Laenas
  • Quintus Valerius Poplicola,

as accensii of joint Consular Cohort together with all the obligations and privileges prescribed by the laws of Nova Roma.

No oath shall be required. This edict takes effect immediately.

Given under our hands this second day of January 2761 a.U.c (AD 2008) in the consulships of M. Moravius and T. Iulius.
