Message #11477 of 11503

Salvete Conscript Fathers

Here are two links to information this house will need to approve the budget

for 2761. Because of my loss of internet service we no longer have the time

for us to enact this before January 1. It will be up to our new Consuls to

present this formally so it can be adopted. I post it here so Senators can study it

and form questions for those proceedings.

I would like to congratulate our newly elected officials and to wish them

all the best for the new year.

I would especially like to thank Equestria Iunia Laeca for all the work she

has

done to bring the QuickBooks system up and running.

We extend our thanks to Patricia Cassia for doing a sometimes thankless

job of looking after our finances and for doing so for almost ten years.

Thank you Patricia Cassia!

Valete

Tiberius Galerius Paulinus

In ancient Rome, the Aerarium Saturni (so called because it was situated within the temple of Saturn beneath the Capitol) was the repository for all the official financial documents of the state. It also served as the official treasury. In Nova Roma, this function is revived, with all official documents and treasury reports of the quaestors available herein for the perusal of all at any time.

The original Aerarium Saturni can be found at: http://www.novaroma.org/aerarium_saturni/
