These are the annual provincial reports for the period between Kal. Apr. M. Cotta C. Petronio cos. ‡ MMDCCLXXVII a.u.c. and Kal. Apr. P. Aurelio C. Flavio cos. ‡ MMDCCLXXVIII a.u.c.. The reports were due to be submitted until the Kalends of April P. Aurelio C. Flavio cos. ‡ MMDCCLXXVIII a.u.c..
The Senate evaluates the provinces according to the Senatus consultum de provinciis ordinandis. The content and the format of the reports are done according to the Senatus consultum de relatione provinciali requirenda.
By October P. Aurelio C. Flavio cos. ‡ MMDCCLXXVIII a.u.c. the Senate issued an official reminder to the Governors who had not submitted their reports on time and warned about consequences (Senatus Consultum De Relationibus Praesidum Provinciarum).
Requirements for the evaluation of the provincial reports
The status, quality, productivity, degree of development and activity of a province is measured by the following set of requirements which every province must meet:
- Requirement 1.: A province must have at least 15 citizens.
- Requirement 2.: A province must have a functioning online communication forum with 15 resident participants with at least 15 messages per month, by 5 different citizens. However, if the province failed to satisfy only II.B.2., while there were more than two gatherings of at least 5 citizens in that year in the province, this failure shall be ignored.
- Requirement 3.: A province must have at least 2 gatherings of 5 resident citizens in a year.
- Requirement 4.: A province must have a partnership in a form officially recognized by Nova Roman law with one (at least partially) Roman reenactment group in the area.
- Requirement 5.: A province must have at least one candidate for governor.
