A senator is a full official member of the Senate of Nova Roma.
Senatores are appointed by the censores. The list of senatores is regularly revised during a census, but senatores are only removed if they bring their dignity into disrepute.
A person who has held a magistracy with imperium will normally become a senator. Present and former holders of higher magistracies are not necessarily senatores but have the right to participate in meetings of the Senate (the ius sententiae) by virtue of their office.
This "Category page" lists all persons who are senatores of Nova Roma. Former senators are listed in a sub-category.
